The Cleveland International Film Festival kicked off March 22, 2012 and will run through April 1,2012. The Film Festival is held at Tower City Cinemas. Gay Games 9 along with Equality Ohio, The LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland, The Aids Task Force of Cleveland, Colors of Cleveland Pride and The Diversity Center are sponsoring films in this years festival.

Gay Games 9 is one of the sponsors of the movie Where Dreams Don't Fade, a story about the trials of Kenyan Olympic runners, who have won 21 Olympics medals in Distant Running events.
